Garouste and Bonetti Public Information Unit (PIU)
The artistic and accomplished architectural team of Garouste & Bonetti has developed a classic product range for Adshel. Taking every advantage of modern materials and manufacturing processes, the designers have created a structure that bears the hallmark of their style, instantly recognisable for its innovative character, conviviality and warmth.
Its elaborate visual originality is due to the unusual blending of an overtly contemporary overall style. The structure consists of gently tapered elements joined together by elegant cast corner details.
While the unit incorporates a back-illuminated poster site that enables various types of local information to be conveyed, it can also accommodate a battery collection point where the public can deposit used mobile phone and lithium batteries.
Toughened safety glass is used throughout the Information Unit and it is fitted with new anti-vandal locks to deter unauthorized entry. The structure and fixings are stable and corrosion-resistant in varying climatic conditions.
